Located in the Village of Fordwich (population 500), the store serves an average of 6000 customers each month!

At the Helm of the Ship
Coreen Harding, store owner and long time resident of Fordwich, purchased The Bare Necessities in 2005. Her hometown pride and willingness to 'roll up her sleeves' and get involved in her community is reflected in both her 25 years as an active volunteer and in how she chooses to run her business. Over the last 17 years, Coreen has expanded the store to include enough products and services that local residents have access to all the essentials - for a fair price, during convenient hours and without having to leave town.
